What happens when people who live next door to each other suddenly have to become, well, neighbors?

Set in Anytown, Surburbia, this small-cast play sets out to answer this question with humor, heart, a dash of truth and the occasional off-color remark. And successfully so. We were a good little audience: we laughed, went “awww” and offered up a snicker here and there. And deservingly so. The Indianapolis Artsgarden is the *perfect* stage for the play. I won’t give away the plot, because you should go out and support local theatre, but only say this: Things may change, but they always stay the same.

So the real question is: Does anything ever really change?

Presented by the Heartland Actors Repertory Theatre (HART) and written by Indianapolis playwright, author, journalist, a&e editor and blogger, Lou Harry & playwright and author, Eric Pfeffinger. Tickets are $18, available online or at the door. Last showtimes: Friday & Saturday @ 8 p.m. Go. See it.
