It’s spring! And it’s finally beginning to feel like it! What a perfect weekend to spend outside – sunshine and 66 °. I went for a run on the Monon, as did hundreds of other neighborhood dwellers. I spent some quality time in the hammock reading Marley & Me, this month’s Book Club selection. (Loving it so far, I do love puppies!) I’m pretty certain I took a short nap in the hammock too! And of course, the beautiful weather screamed for some spring shopping! Mostly of the window variety this weekend, but I did pick up a couple of things for the season. Like this white handbag and cute shirtdress, both from Target. (I cannot wait for the Glendale Target to open this summer!) I’m so excited to wear this dress, the picture doesn’t do justice to the *twirl* factor!

What is your opinion on when to wear white? Pants, handbags, shoes, etc….
- All year?
- Memorial Day-Labor Day?
- Easter to Labor Day?
I tend to be old-fashioned, but I always trend towards Mem Day-Labor Day. I’d like to wear my white pants now, though…

For white, I’ve always followed the Easter-Labor Day mindset, and have a hard time going outside that. Especially this year: Easter was so early… not to mention the crazy weather we’ve had in central Indiana! I have been carrying my new white handbag and I don’t think it will be long before I show off the wide-leg white pants too.
The old color rules like pairing blue & black or brown & black have long been thrown out the window. It was an adjustment, but brown & black can be some of my favorite combos!
I say pull out the white, and if the weather and occassion fit, wear them!
